Experience a 7 days' wildlife epic adventure through the magical wildlife sanctuaries of Samburu, Ol Pejeta, Lake Nakuru and the famous Masai Mara. Encounter the fabulous five animals in Samburu, the Ol Pejeta rhinos, explore the bird watcher's paradise at Lake Nakuru, and have a blast with thrilling days at the iconic Masai Mara.
You will be met by your driver guide and after a briefing start your journey to Samburu National Reserve; home to some of the most unique wildlife found anywhere on Earth! You will be crossing into the Northern Hemisphere as you enter Samburu. After lunch, you'll set off on your afternoon game drives inside this pristine wonderland. When evening arrives, you'll return back to the lodge for dinner overnight.
After breakfast, you'll be ready to explore all the wonders of Samburu National Reserve, a rugged and striking landscape fed by the gorgeous Ewaso Nyiro River. This special area north of the equator is home to some unique wildlife like Beisa, Oryx, gerenuk, Somali ostrich, Gravy's zebra and reticulated giraffe. Make sure to bring out your inner nature photographer!
You will take a break for lunch and a little rest once the sun's cooled off before heading back out again for more game drives. Once evening approaches, you'll return to cozy up at your lodge with dinner and sweet dreams until the morning comes around again.
Depart Samburu after breakfast and drive to Ol Pejeta conservancy. On the way you can stop at the equator marker. You will arrive in time for lunch. After short rest you will proceed for a late afternoon game drive. Night game drives, camel ride, bush dinner, visiting the two remaining northern white rhinos in the world can be arranged at an extra cost.
Depart Ol Pejeta after breakfast and head to Lake Nakuru national park. On arrival at lake Nakuru national park, you will enter and have en route game drive as you head to you lodge located inside the park. Enjoy afternoon game drives after lunch at the lodge. The park is famous for the flocks of the greater and lesser Flamingo that gather around the lake numbering around 2 million, which turns the lake pink. This has given the lake a nickname; the pink lake. The endangered rhino and Rothschild giraffe are found in the park. Other animals found in the park include African buffalos, zebras, impalas, olive baboons, velvet monkeys, waterbucks, hyenas, jackals, hippopotamus among many others. Back to the lodge in the evening.
After early breakfast, drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch and short rest, enjoy afternoon game in search of the big 5 are found in this reserve. Other animals seen here include cheetah, serval, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, topi, eland among others. Different bird species are also found. They include eagles, vultures, ostriches, storks, little grebe, pelicans, cormorants & darter. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Optional early morning balloon ride and after breakfast, you will embark on a full-day game viewing in Africa's finest park. You will drive to various places in the expansive Masai Mara National Reserve. In the late afternoon, you will have the option of visiting a Maasai cultural village as you head back to the lodge in the evening.
After breakfast you will depart the lodge and drive to Nairobi. On arrival we will host you for lunch at the famous carnivore. You will later be dropped at your hotel or the airport.
