1 DAY NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK, DAVID SHELDRICK WILDLIFE TRUST AND GIRAFFE CENTER
Are you on transit or a long layover or within Nairobi and looking for some day trip adventure? Well Nairobi has a lot to offer. You can explore the park on game drives and enjoy game viewing, get to interact, and feed the elephants and giraffes up close at the elephant orphanage and the giraffe center. You can also visit many others places that can be arranged upon request like the Nairobi National Museum, the animal orphanage, the safari walk, the Bomas of Kenya, the KICC and get the views of the city form the roof top among many others.
ITINERARY
DAY 1: NAIROBI CITY EXCURSION
You will be picked up in the early morning at around 6:00am upon arrival at the airport or at your hotel and be driven to Nairobi National Park. Here you'll be on the lookout for wildlife including buffalo, zebra, giraffe, ostrich, hyena and of course the big cats. Depart the park at 10.30AM and head to the elephant orphanage to delight in the most adorable creatures feeding from giant baby bottles. Depart the orphanage at 12.00PM and head for lunch at Galleria Mall at an extra cost.
The afternoon promises more excitement and at around 2PM, we drop in at the Giraffe Center, home of endangered Rothschild's Giraffes. On these stately grounds you can get up close and even feed these imposing creatures. At around 3 pm, depart and be driven to the airport in time for your flight or be dropped at your hotel.
