Your driver guide will meet you at the airport or your hotel in the city and drive you to Nairobi national park. You will enjoy and extensive game drive and view as many birds for species such as the restricted-range Jackson's widowbird, ostriches, secretary birds and bustards. Water birds can be found around Hyena Dam and Nagolomon Dam. You will have lunch break in one of the picnic sites before resuming the drives. After a satisfactory bird watching experience, be driven back to your city hotel for the evening.
After breakfast, depart your hotel and be driven to Lake Naivasha. Spend the days at the lake shores for bird sightings. Lake Naivasha is the highest of the Rift Valley Lakes at 1,880 m. It is the second largest freshwater lake and one of the only two freshwater lakes in Kenya with a fascinating bird life of over 350 species. Lake Naivasha holds a healthy fish population which attracts an astonishing number of water depending birds.
After breakfast you will be driven to the bird watcher's paradise; Lake Nakuru national park where you will have bird watching game drives. Later check in at your hotel and have lunch. After lunch and short rest continue with the afternoon bird watching in this great birding destination like long-tailed widowbird, raptors Verreaux's and long-crested eagle. Back to the lodge in the evening.
On this day, you will have morning and afternoon bird watching drives in the park. Exploring the vast park for the flamingos and pelicans as well as Great Cormorant, Great White Pelican, African Fish-eagle, African Harrier-hawk, African Spoonbill, Francolin, Grey-headed Gull, Broad-billed Roller, Levaillant's Cuckoo, White-browed Coucal, Green Wood hoopoe, African Fire finch, Black Cuckoo-shrike, Northern Anteater-chat, Grey-backed Fiscal, Brown-crowned Tchagra and Grey Woodpecker. Back to the lodge for the evening.
After breakfast, you will depart lake Nakuru and be driven to Masai Mara national reserve. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch you will have afternoon bird watching drive in the park in search for the over 500 bird species. Back to the lodge in the evening.
After breakfast you will have will depart the lodge with packed lunch and have a full day of bird watching in the park. The reserve is known with variety of species as Ostrich, White-headed Vulture, Lappet-faced Vulture, Martial Eagle, Black-chested Snake Eagle, Grey Kestrel, Black-bellied Bustard, Secretary bird, Red-necked Spur fowl, Coqui Francolin, Harlequin Quail, Temminck's Courser, Wattled Plover, Bare-faced go away Bird, Southern Ground Hornbill, Grey Crowned Crane, Dusky Nightjar, Woodland and Striped Kingfishers and many others. Back to the lodge in the evening.
Depart the lodge after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi. On arrival, you will have lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant before being dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
